Good Morning, Dear Friends and Prayer Partners! This is the rainy, cloudy, morning that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it! I waited until the tornado watch and thunderstorms were over before logging on. Looks like all the TV meteorologists worked overtime today bringing us the pinpoint locations of the likely tornadoes and times of the oncoming storms. We got our fifteen minutes of good rain, and although we are still covered with clouds, we may not get any more. Whatever God sends we are grateful for. I watered the staghorn fern yesterday, along with all the azaleas and plumbago, which was nearly dead from lack of water, so this rain should really benefit them.
The tree-trimmers were working at the Park yesterday, taking care of the overgrowth on the oaks and planting several new trees in the newly opened park of the park.I was told by my friend who works at the park, that all the irrigation systems have been turned off, because of the severe drought.We all have to do our parts.
Job 11:13-18
If you would prepare your heart,
and stretch out your hands toward Him;
If iniquity were in your hand, and you put it far away,
And would not let wickedness dwell in your tents;
Then surely you could lift up your face without spot;
Yes, you could be steadfast, and not fear;
Because you would forget your misery,
And remember it as waters that have passed away,
And your life would be brighter than noonday.
Though you were dark, you would be like the morning,
And you would be secure, because there is hope;
Yes, you would dig around you, and take your rest in safety.
I always give thanks for you remembering you in my prayers with thanksgiving, joy and love!
Love and hugs,
Amaryllis
