Cruisin' thru Colossians

Good late morning, Dear Friends and Prayer Partners! This is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it! I have been lazy so far, having a late breakfast and taking my time doing things. The day is overcast and the temp is in the upper forties, so the house is still chilly, even though the heat is on. Could be because I am not moving very much!

I had a nice visit from my friend, David, yesterday, which was much appreciated, and we had a good chat catching up. Friends are the best!

One of my cleaning ladies is having cataract surgery today, so I told her I would pray for her that all goes well and she would recover quickly. Yesterday I kept an appointment with my doc. and shortly after I arrived the nurse came out and told me that the computer was down and while it was being worked on, they had no idea when or if, it would be fixed. Therefore, since the records are totally on the PC now, the Dr. cannot see a patient's history. That is one big disadvantage to having everything on computer, now. I rescheduled for Friday. Hopefully, everything will be healed by then! (Meaning the doc's computer.) This was just a check-up for me.

So, I went shopping at CVS, and then to the park, which was almost deserted, because the wind was quite chilly, as was the temp. I did not see even one squirrel, which is very unusual, but saw an egret and that was all the wildlife visible! But God is good!

From the Promise Bible NLT:

Colossians 4:12-15

Since God chose you to be the holy people whom he loves, you must
clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy. Kindness, humility, gentleness
and patience. You must make allowance for each other's faults and forgive
the person who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must
forgive others. And the most important piece of clothing you must wear
is love. Love is what binds us all together in perfect harmony. And let the
peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one
body you are all called to live in peace. And always be thankful.

I always give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers with thanksgiving,
joy and love!

Love and hugs,
 Amaryllis
