Psoaring thru Psalms

Good Morning, Dear Friends and Prayer Partners! This is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it! Blue skies and clouds and there was a red sky at sunrise. "Red sky at night, sailors delight! Red sky in the morning, sailors take warning." An old saying from scripture. In this case, though, I don't think the sky was that red...just a glow. But it promises to be a warm, humid day, with no rain predicted.

Yesterday, I hustled to get up to CVS before my cleaning ladies came, so I skipped lunch until I came back home. I had just finished my strawberries and ice cream, when they rang the doorbell. Kim was excited to tell me about a website where you can order clothes from a personal shopper and send back what you don't want. Sounds interesting, but I like to see what I am buying. And Cheryl was interested in my new computer, since she just had to buy a new one because her old one crashed. She has Windows 10, as I have and neither one of us likes it. Sigh.

Well, I have some things to do before Daryl and Matthew get here early tomorrow morning, so I had better get on with it!

All my azaleas are gone, but the amaryllis are still blooming , and the jacaranda trees are showing more blooms in the neighborhood. Always lots of color! God is good!

From the Promise Bible NLT:

Psalm 18:23-30
To the faithful, you show yourself faithful;
to those with integrity you show integrity.
To the pure you show yourself pure,
but to the wicked you show yourself hostile.
You rescue those who are humble, but
you humiliate the proud.

Lord, you have brought light to my life;
my God, you light up my darkness.
In your strength I can crush an army.
with my God I can scale any wall.

I always give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers with thanksgiving, joy and love!

Love and hugs,
Amaryllis
