Exerpts from Isaiah

Good morning, dear Friends and Prayer Partners! This is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it! Because our yardman, David, came early, I am late getting to the PC. I always enjoy talking with him because he has the worldly view on everything since he is not a believer, yet.

Anyway, the yard looks nice and he also trimmed some shrubbery. He does a good job. His full time job with the County Parks Dept. will be saved because he will be on a mowing crew, instead of a ranger, when the next budget cuts happen. The plywood is up in the environmental building, the drinking fountains were on the floor, and dust and dirt everywhere. Well, guess we will just have to get used to it.

But God is in control and He is good!

From the Promise Bible NLT:

Isaiah 40:28 Have you never heard or understood? Don't you know that the Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth? He never grows faint or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding. He gives power to those who are tired and worn out. He offers strength to the weak. Even youths will become exhausted and young men will give up. But those who wait on the Lord will find new strength. They will fly high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.

Isaiah 41:10 Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you. I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.

I always give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers with thanksgiving, joy and love!

Love and hugs,
Amaryllis
