Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Good Morning, Dear Friends and Prayer Partners! This is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it! This is an overcast day, which is too bad because the MacDill A. F. air show is this weekend and the Blue Angels are flying in today. This always attracts hundreds and it will be a shame if no one can see the planes and paratroopers.

Well, I am wearing the only green T-shirt I own, since I am half Irish on my mother's side!  This goes back only a couple generations, according to my grandmother's Bible. My other half is German on my father's side. What a mixture! BTW, The Google logo is quite clever today!

Yesterday, I went to Optical Outlets to get new nose pieces for one pair of glasses and to get the glasses I got last year adjusted. I have never been able to wear them because they gave me a headache, so I wore them all afternoon and evening and was able to read comfortably. However, they are heavier than what I am used to, so I will have to be examined soon and get another pair lighter in weight. I am blessed that my eyesight has not changed much for the past few years. I only get new glasses for the frame change.

While I was at that shopping center I walked next door to the Artisan Bread store, but I was disappointed in the small amount of bakery goods they had and the high prices. I was looking for a cinnamon roll (my favorite) but they had none. I think Perkins has the best ones, but Panera is a close second!

Well, my azaleas are in full bloom, as are the others around town, and spring is officially starting Sunday. I saw two anhingas  airing out their feathers at Lynch Lake and I wrote about the messy park yesterday. Well, the maintenance man was blowing the leaves off the circle drive when I drove through, so maybe he did a lot more. Back a few years ago when I walked there every day the first thing the workers did, after mopping the building floors was to blow off leaves from all the roads. My, how things have changed! But God is good!

From the Promise Bible NLT:

Matthew 7:24-33
Keep on asking, and you will be given what you
ask for. Keep on looking, and you will find.
Keep on knocking and the door will be opened.
For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who
seeks, finds. And the door is opened to everyone
who knocks. You parents---if your children ask
for a loaf of bread, do you give them a stone
instead? Or if they ask for a fish, do you give them
a snake? Of course not! If you sinful people know
how go give good gifts to your children, how much
more will your heavenly Father give good gifts to
those who ask him.

I always give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers, with thanksgiving, joy and love!

Love and hugs,
 Amaryllis
