Psoaring thru Psalm 28

Good Morning, Dear Friends and Prayer Partners! This is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it! It is perfect weather these days...cool nights and warm days with lots of sunshine! The oak trees have finally stopped dropping the seeds and have new green leaves, so the porch is staying clean after being blown off. That's a good thing!

I noticed a pretty, jacaranda was in bloom when I passed by one the other day. Not all are blooming yet, but even though they are messy as the flowers fall, they are still lovely in the lavender color. After they bloom, the Royal Poinciana blooms in their brilliant colors show off! Ah, spring! What a colorful time in Florida!

Well, I noticed the former Sweetbay on 4th St. had a lot of cars in the parking lot, as they were working to change it into a Winn Dixie. That still seems strange to me. I liked Sweetbay, but I was in the WD store a couple days ago, at Rutland Plaza, and I was impressed with how cleaned up the store was, even though I am not impressed with the way it is laid out. I guess Publix takes the prize on that, but maybe that's just because I am used to it.

On my way to the Park yesterday, I passed my friend David, but he didn't see me...just passing by in traffic, but once I got to the park
I saw the very old, large, gopher tortoise walking in a hurry to someplace  yesterday. I don't know where he was going, but his short, stubby legs were really moving. At least for a turtle!. The roseate spoonbills were not in sight, but the white herons were having a good time poking their beaks in the mud to scoop up bugs and grubs and what not. God is good!

From the Promise Bible NLT:

Psalm 28:6,7
Praise the Lord!
For he has heard my cry for mercy.
The Lord is my strength, my shield from every danger.
I trust him with all my heart.
He helps me and my heart is filled with joy.
I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.

I always give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers with thanksgiving,
joy and love!

Love and hugs,
 Amaryllis
