Roamin' thru Romans

Good Morning, Dear Friends and Prayer Partners! This is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it! It's not a good boating day because the wind has been blowing in strong gusts at times, and the sky is overcast. The prediction is for thunderstorms ...maybe..sometime today, which is fine with me as the yard has dried up from our last rain a couple weeks ago.

I noticed my crape myrtle looks like it is dying. It was drastically trimmed back and the new growth had reached about a foot, but I think the one really cold spell we had must have damaged the new twigs, because they look very dried out. I would hate to lose that tree, because it is very old. But I will just wait and see.

I took a walk around the house yesterday and saw that the very old azalea hidden in a corner in the back of the house. has lots of deep pink blooms on it and the lone small azalea on the north side, is full of pale pink blooms. So! A little beauty at my abode.

I have a nice, "cardial" relationship with my T.B.T. carriers. I have never seen them, but every morning my paper is laid in the chair right outside the front door. Sometimes I leave little gift cards clipped to the chair, (such as Dunkin' Donuts) and they always leave a thank you.

Well, this week I received a nice Hallmark card inserted in the plastic bag. It was not signed nor was it addressed to me, but it was thoughtfulness card, which I can reuse, if I need, too. I am pretty sure it was for me, and that they did not give one to everyone on their route. NICE!

I mentioned that I thought I was coming down with something yesterday, and I think it has developed into a slight cold or severe allergy. I am hacking and sneezing once in a while, but don't feel too sick. My sons are praying that whatever it is will go away. God is good!

From the Promise Bible NLT:

Romans 8:22-28
And even we Christians, although we have the Holy Spirit within us
as a foretaste of future glory, also groan to be released from pain and
suffering. We, too, wait anxiously for that day when God will give us
our full rights as his children, including the new bodies he has promised
us. Now that we are saved, we eagerly look forward to this freedom. For if you
already have something you don't need to hope for it. But if we look forward
to something we don't have yet, we must wait patiently and confidently.

And the Holy Spirit helps us in our distress. For we don't even know what we should
pray for, nor how we should pray.. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings
that cannot be expressed in words. And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with
God's own will. And we know that God causes everything to work together
for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

I always give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers with thanksgiving,
joy and love!

Greetings from Paul

Good Morning, Dear Friends and Prayer Partners! This is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it! More sunshine, wind, and up in the middle seventies already! A promise of a great day!

I'm hoping that the wind will blow the rest of the leaves off the oaks, so I can finally get the gutters cleaned out. There was no point in having them cleaned with the porch being covered just hours after being blown clean. But here it is Thursday, and the porch is not bad at all. The tree that is doing the most shedding, is almost bare of leaves, so it is time for the new ones to start budding and the seeds to follow.

I have kind of a funny throat today. Not exactly sore, but all last night, it felt thick and like it was going to be sore. I have been such a long time with no colds or illnesses this winter, I don't want to think of getting sick now! I also had a very disturbing dream, which happens sometimes.  Very weird...

After chatting with my cleaning gals and catching up on the neighborhood news, I took off for the dollar store and also drove to the Park. Lots of ibis, seagulls around Lynch Lake Park, and ibis and anhingas at the Park, along with lots of people and dogs. God is good!

From the Promise Bible NLT:

Colossians 1:9-14

So we have continued praying for you ever since we first heard about
you. We ask God to give you a complete understanding of what he wants
to do in your lives, and we ask him to make you wise with spiritual
wisdom. Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord,
and you will continually do good, kind things for others. All the while
you will learn to know God better and better.

We also pray that you will be strengthened with his glorious power, so that
you will have all the patience and endurance you need. May you be filled
with joy, always thanking the Father, who has enabled you to share the
inheritance  that belongs to God's holy people, who live in the light. For
he has rescued us from the one who rules in the kingdom of darkness and
he has brought us into the Kingdom of his dear Son. God had purchased
our freedom with his blood, and has forgiven all our sins.

I always give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers with thanksgiving,
joy and love!

Love and hugs,

Don't Condemn Others

Good Morning, Dear Friends and Prayer Partners! This is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it! Today's weather is a repeat of yesterday's, so it looks like spring has sprung already! Lots of sunshine and cool breezes, with just a few clouds. There were pictures of cirrus clouds on Facebook yesterday and I saw them with their unusual shapes. I always try to look up to see what God has produced for my pleasure.

Well, I discovered a fat anole in my bathroom, Monday, and was not happy about it. He was curled under my curling iron and had left a deposit on the sink cabinet. When I moved the iron, of course he wriggled his way up the wall and I have not seen him since. But I have not felt sticky feet on my face at night, so I guess he has moved on. Shudder!

I finished my ironing! I don't know why I put that off so long, when it only takes a few minutes to do. I just am not that fond of that particular task, but am always glad when it is over. I went to the park in the afternoon, and saw the anhinga perched on the weir with outstretched wings. Several ibis were pecking around on the banks and further down, more ibis , and moorhens in the water. God is good!

From the Promise Bible NLT:

Luke 6:37
Stop judging others, and you will not be judged.
Stop criticizing others, or it will all come back on you.
If you forgive others, you will be forgiven. If you give,
you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full
measure, pressed down, shaken together to make room
for more, and running over. Whatever measure you use
in giving---large or small--it will be used to measure what
is given back to you."

Then Jesus gave the following illustration. " What good is it for one blind
person to lead another? The first one will fall into a ditch
and pull the other down also. A student is not greater than'
the teacher. But the student who works hard will become like
the teacher.

And why worry about a speck in your friend"s eye when you
have a log in your own? How can you think of saying, "Friend,
let me help you get rid of that speck in your eye, when you
can't see past the log in your own eye? Hypocrite! First get
rid of the log from your own eye, then perhaps you will see

well enough to deal with the speck in your friend's eye."

I always give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers with
thanksgiving, joy and love!

Love and hugs,

Loping thru Luke

Good Morning, Dear Friends and Prayer Partners! This is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it! Cool mornings, drier than usual air, and sunshine. Who could ask for anything more? Actually, it is more spring like than anything else!

Yesterday, after stripping the bed and washing and drying sheets, I went over to Winn Dixie for a few things. I hardly ever shop there for some reason, but I was glad I did, because they have the brand of bacon that I like, and Publix has discontinued carrying it. And I got everything on my list for a change!

After I left the store I drove over to the Park and saw a very wet anhinga flattened out on the weir drying off. He was sleek, and the feathers were shining blue black in the bright sun. Further down in the canal a great white heron was splashing  and looked quite excited about something, Maybe he found a fish! The azaleas are making a nice show there now, as are mine.

I am still seeing in my mind the crowd of Amish people on their bikes and trikes waiting at an intersection in Sarasota. Since that lifestyle is in my history, I am quite interested in them and their way of life...the women's home made dresses and the men with their style of dress..fascinating!  They don't wear expensive clothes and care nothing about "keeping up with the Joneses". No electronic games for the kids, and no staring at the TV all day. We all could take a lesson from them. God is good!

From the Promise Bible NLT:

Luke 6:27-36
But if you are willing to listen, I say, love your enemies.
Do good to those who hate you. Pray for the happiness
of those who hurt you. If someone slaps you on one cheek,
turn the other cheek. If someone demands your coat, offer your
shirt also. Give what you have to anyone who asks you for it,
and when things are taken away from you, don't try to get them
back. Do for others as you would like them to do for you.

Do you think you deserve credit merely for loving those who
love you? Even the sinners do that! And if you do good only
to those who do good to you, is that so wonderful? Even sinners
do that much! And if you lend money only to those who can
repay you, what good is that?Even sinners will lend to their own
kind for a full return.

Love your enemies! Do good to them! Lend to them! and don't
be concerned that they might not repay. Then your reward from
heaven will be very great, and you will truly be acting as children
of the Most High, for he is kind to the unthankful and to those
who are wicked. You must be compassionate as your Father is compassionate.

I always give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers with thanksgiving, joy and love!
Love and hugs,

Chronicles and Acts

Good Morning, Dear Friends and Prayer Partners! This is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it! The yard men have come and gone and since it is President's day and I read on my schedule that there was no change in trash pickup, I thought they would have picked up already. But, apparently the schedule was wrong, so the guys put the dumpster down for tomorrow, which is good, since they put a huge black bag of leaves in it from last week!

Well, I had an interesting weekend. After getting my hair done Sat. by my friend, Mari, I decided to go down Central to downtown, since I had not been in the hub of activity for a little while. What an active, lively, busy place downtown St. Petersburg is! There were no empty parking spaces for about four blocks on Central, and Beach drive was also full. Lots of people walking, eating outside, shopping and just enjoying the beautiful weather! We have one of the most beautiful waterfronts anywhere! I am glad this is my home and home town!

Then Sat. afternoon, Brian and I headed down to Sarasota. I had told him I would like to treat him to dinner in celebration of his new position starting Tuesday. We thought by leaving early enough to get to Yoder's around 5, that we would beat the crowds! WRONG!

There must have been a hundred people standing in line outside to get into the restaurant, and more people shopping the gift shop, and fresh market at the Village. So, we turned around and drove a couple blocks to Der Dutchman. It was also crowded and had a crowd, but they were all inside and had signal devices for when names were called. So, we looked around at all the baked goods and upstairs were gifts. I like to people watch and there were as many Amish and Mennonite people there as outsiders. We only had to wait about thirty minutes, before sitting down to a substantial meal. I had poached salmon which was delicious, but they had other choices of meats and loads of veggies on the buffet, plus a large salad bar. I was stuffed  when I got up.

While we were waiting, a friend came up to me that I had not seen for several years, so it is a small world!

On the way home, the huge, orangish moon was rising over the Bay and it was just gorgeous. If I hadn't been in the car, I would have taken a pic of it! Not a cloud in the sky...just the huge snow moon! It was a wonderful evening. God is good!

From the Promise Bible NLT:

Acts 10:34
Then Peter replied, " I see very clearly that God
doesn't show partiality. In every nation he accepts
those who fear him and do what is right."

2 Chronicles 7:14
Then if my people will humble themselves and pray
and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways , I
will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and
heal their land.

I always give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers with thanksgiving, joy and love!

Love

Good Morning, Dear Friends and Prayer Partners! This is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it!

And Happy Valentine's Day  to all and Happy 18th birthday to my favorite grandson, Matthew!

We have a beautiful but cool start to the day, with lots of sun and no wind. While it is still in the fifties, the sun will warm things up very soon.

Daryl said their snow is already melting, so everything will be back to normal, whatever that is, soon. I saw pictures on the news this morning of over a hundred cars involved in a massive pile-up on a freeway in PA.! It will take hours for traffic to clear, but I just hope and pray there were no injuries in that mess!

After I finished shopping yesterday, I visited the Park and saw that their azaleas are blooming and while not as pretty as in years past, because of drastic pruning, still the pink flowers are very cheery looking.. I saw a wood stork huddled up on the side of the very full canal, and an anhinga with his wings folded on the weir. God is good!

From the Promise Bible NLT:

 1 Corinthians 13:13
There are three things that will endure---faith, hope and love---and the greatest of these is love.

I always give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers with thanksgiving,
joy and love!

Psoaring thru Psalms

Good Morning, Dear Friends and Prayer Partners! This is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it! Wow! What a thunderstorm that was yesterday! I was safe and dry at home, but I watched on TV as the ice formed in Atla. and the people stuck on the roller coaster at Busch Gardens  sat through the rain and storm. Lots of news alerts most of the day.

Daryl texted pics of the 8 inches of snow that fell in Cleveland, TN.! What a storm! While the temps. are slowing dropping here, and the wind is blowing strongly, we have blue skies and lots of sun, so all is good.

I made a trip to the library and then the park to check it out. People walking, having picnics, and just enjoying a nice day before the storm. I saw a great white heron almost hidden behind a bulrush, and one anhinga before I got down further, but it was just a good day for enjoying the outdoors.

My cleaning ladies came and did their usual good job before leaving, so I have a clean house and am safe and dry. God is good!

From the Promise Bible NLT:

Psalm 150

Praise God in his heavenly dwelling,
praise him in his mighty heaven.
Praise him for his mighty works,
praise his unequaled greatness.
Praise him with a blast of the trumpet,
praise him with the lyre and harp!
Praise him with the tambourine and dancing;
Praise him with the stringed instruments and flutes!
Praise him with a clash of cymbals;
praise him with loud clanging cymbals!
Let everything that lives sing praises to the Lord!
Praise the Lord!

I always give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers with thanksgiving
joy and love!

Learning from Luke

Good Morning, dear Friends and Prayer Partners! This is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it! Wow! I was not expecting a lot of fog this morning, but that is what greeted me when I looked out. Then I watched the traffic reports and visibility was down to almost zero on the bridges, so there were accidents, of course, including one fatality and a truck carrying liquor overturned, spilling a lot of alcohol all over! Lots of work for the troopers and first responders! I give thanks for them in their work!

I went shopping yesterday and found some bargains at Beall's , but they always have sales. I just got a little extra off because of Senior Day. There are perks to being a senior! Then I drove out to get gas and was disappointed to find that gas had jumped up overnight. But, since I only buy gas about once a month, I can't complain too much!

I stopped by the Park on my way and saw quite a few cars and people walking around enjoying the great weather. I almost had to stop for a frisky squirrel who decided to dare me by stopping for a second in front of me as he dashed across the road! A lone anhinga was sunning on the weir and a great blue heron was near him. God is good!

From the Promise Bible NLT:

Luke 12:22-31

Then, turning to his disciples, Jesus said, " So I tell you, don't worry about everyday
life, whether you have enough food to eat, or enough clothes to wear. For life consists of more than food and clothing. Look at the ravens. They don't need to plant or harvest or put food in barns, because God feeds them. And you are far more
valuable to him than any birds! Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? Of course not!  And if worry can't do little things like that, what's the use of worrying about bigger things?

Look at the lilies and how they grow. They don't work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. And if God cares so wonderfully for flowers that are here today and gone tomorrow, won't he more surely care for you? You have so little faith !....

He will give you all you need from day to day if you make the Kingdom of God your primary concern.

I always give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers with thanksgiving, joy and love!

Love and hugs,

Psoaring thru Psalm 5

Good Morning, Dear Friends and Prayer Partners! This is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it! This will be another beautiful day just like yesterday, but we are still being warned about the rain and colder weather coming tomorrow evening.  Also, I watched the Gov. of GA and the mayor of Atla. speaking about all the preparations being made so that they do not get caught unawares as they did two weeks ago. Maybe it won't be as bad as they expect, but it is always good to be prepared...just as we do when a hurricane approaches!

Well, my azaleas are blooming nicely, and look very pretty. I am sure that houses with more azaleas than I have are already showing off the beauty that happens once a year. My bushes are very old, but seem to be holding up  well, with trimming once in a while. I haven't noticed the ones in the park blooming yet. Guess I will have to take a look next time I go.

Well, my birthday balloons are slowing losing their gas. 5 are resting on the hearth and floor, and three are slowly sagging and will probably be on the hearth later this week.. But they are a good reminder of a happy day and how loved on I was by my special friends. God is good!

From the Promise Bible NLT:

Psalm 5

O Lord, hear me as I pray;
pay attention to my groaning.
Listen to my cry for help, my King and my God,
for I will never pray to anyone but you.
Listen to my voice in the morning, Lord.
Each morning I bring my requests to you and wait expectantly.
O God, you take no pleasure in wickedness,
you cannot tolerate the slightest sin.

Therefore, the proud will not be allowed
to stand in your presence,
for you hate all who do evil.
You will destroy those who tell lies.
The Lord detests murderers and deceivers.....

But let all who take refuge in you rejoice,
let them sing with joyful praises forever,
Protect them, so all who love your name may be filled with joy.
For you bless the godly, O Lord,
surrounding them with your shield of love.

I always give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers with thanksgiving,
joy and love!

Psoaring thru Psalms

Good Morning, Dear Friends and Prayer Partners! This is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it! Cool air and bright sunshine are the start to a beautiful day. Daryl told me yesterday that another cold wave is coming through in TN and they are expecting snow again. I was watching the weather channel a while ago, and the reporter in Atla. said that stores were running out of salt and Ice Melt. They got caught two weeks ago, totally unprepared for the ice on the highway, so people are stocking up this time!

Well, we certainly don't have to worry about that here! I wish I had leaf melt! My yard guys were just here, blowing off the leaves and piling them up in the driveway, then they bagged them and put them in the dumpster. Only problem is, the garbage has already been picked up, so the container will sit in the driveway until Thurs. when another pick up is scheduled. But I am very grateful that they raked up the leaves!

I saw lots of water fowl around Lynch Lake on my way to church yesterday. Woodstorks, anhingas, Muscovy ducks and ibis, also, a few seagulls. The Lake has been declared a park by the city now, which means it gets taken care of by the Parks dept.

After church, I drove to Sawgrass, and saw lots of cars and people out enjoying the warm weather.  A black turtle was plastered on the bank of the weir, and a droopy anhinga was perched on the weir itself. I saw a woman with her small dog on a leash watching it sniff around the large brown gopher tortoise. All the turtle has to do is withdraw himself into his house and he feels safe from dogs and other curious creatures. God is good!

From the Promise Bible NLT:

Psalm 1
Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked,
or stand around with sinners, or join with scoffers.
But they delight in doing everything the Lord wants.
Day and night they think about his law.
They are like trees planted along the riverbank,
bearing fresh fruit each season without fail.
Their leaves never wither,
and in all they do, they prosper.

But this is not true of the wicked.
They are like worthless chaff, scattered like the wind.
They will be condemned at the time of judgment.
Sinners will have no place among the godly.

For the Lord watches over the path of the godly,
but the path of the wicked leads to destruction.

I always give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers with thanksgiving,
joy and love!

Psoaring thru Psalms

Dear Friends and Prayer Partners! This is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it! Sure enough, a cold front came through yesterday and today it is overcast and sprinkly and the temp. was about 59 when I rolled out of bed. I had thought about taking my warmer blanket off the bed a couple days ago, but am glad I didn't! I pulled it up last night and was warm and cozy.

I saw an unusual sight while coming home yesterday...a large plane emerged from the overcast clouds and was trailing a short contrail. It was very low and probably heading for a landing at the Clearwater airport. I had just come from the Park and looked up while waiting for the light to change.

Speaking of the park, there is what looks like a dredge moored alongside the bank, right by the first bridge, and it has four big pilings plugged in. I called my friend, David, who is a Ranger, but have not heard back from him yet. They are constantly working on something at that Park. Improvements, I hope! But, God is good!

From the Promise Bible NLT:

Psalm 84:10-13

A single day in your courts is better than a
thousand anywhere else!
I would rather be a gatekeeper in the house of my God
than live the good life in the homes of the wicked,
For the Lord God is our light and protector.
He gives us grace and glory.

No good thing will the Lord withhold
from those who do what is right.
O Lord Almighty, happy are those who trust in you.

I always give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers with thanksgiving,
joy and love!

Love and hugs,

Paul's Final Advice

Good Morning, Dear Friends and Prayer Partners! This is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it! Today is a lot like yesterday in temp. but rain is predicted for later this afternoon. And, of course, the front porch which was blown clean Monday is now full of leaves again! I have noticed, though, everywhere I go, that streets, gutters and yards are full of fallen leaves, so everyone has the same problem. This just happens to be leaf falling time! But, soon, the new green buds of spring will appear and then the seeds will fall. Sigh.

Well, my birthday balloons are running out of gas. I have had them on the hearth, floating proudly above the mantle, but now two of them are drooping all the way down to the floor. Seems like last year, the balloons Mari got for me lasted a lot longer, but maybe I am just not remembering too well. Since they are tethered together, I will just let them droop for awhile. Ah, memories! Such good times and good friends!

I drove through the park yesterday, and saw quite a few cars, but not many people, so guess they were out on the boardwalk. The big, brown gopher tortoise was almost hidden in some shrubs but no one was around him. It was a really warm afternoon, so folks were out enjoying it, while snow was falling across the northeast part of the country. God is good!

From the Promise Bible NLT:

1 John 5:12-19
Brothers and sister, honor those who are your leaders
in the Lord's work. They work hard among you and warn you
against all that is wrong. Think highly of them and give them
your wholehearted love because of their work. And remember tp
live peaceably with each other.

Brothers and sisters, we urge you to warn those who are lazy.
Encourage those who are timid. Take tender care of those who
are weak. Be patient with everyone.
See that no one pays back evil for evil, but always try to do good
to each other and to everyone else.

Always be joyful. Keep on praying. No matter what happens, always
be thankful for this is God's will for you who belong to Christ
Jesus.

So not stifle the Holy Spirit. Do not scoff at prophecies, but test
everything that is said. Hold on to what is good. Keep away

from every kind of evil.

I always give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers with
thanksgiving, joy and love!

Love and hugs,

God's Love

Good Morning, Dear Friends and Prayer Partners! This is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it! The fog has burned off around here and now the sun is shining warm and bright! Funny thing about fog. I have noticed how quiet all the sounds are when the thick fog mutes all outside noises...traffic is quiet, and there just seems to be a hush over everything. But then the sun shines and everything pick up again!

I really tired myself out yesterday, by making a trip to Publix and buying a lot of stuff I was out of. Sitting around during the rainy days was not a favor to myself. I should have kept moving even in the house! But the one thing that made it not a pleasure, was the deli section. I wish people were more considerate. I could not get in because of the carts blocking the aisle. It's not that there were so many people, but they had parked their carts so that they were effectively keeping people out. I am not bold enough to excuse myself and barge in. Sigh.

After filling my van with the goods, I went on to the park and saw a lot fewer people than the day before. I think because school was still in session and more people at work, made the park less crowded. The water is up in the canal because of the rain, and I saw a flock of ibis contentedly pecking along the berm. It was a beautiful day! God is good!

From the Promise Bible NLT:

Ephesians 3:14-21
When I think of the wisdom and scope of God's plan,
I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, the Creator of
everything in heaven and on earth. I pray that from his
glorious, unlimited resources , he will give you mighty
inner strength through His Holy Spirit. And I pray that Christ
will be more and more at home in your hearts as you
trust in Him. May your roots go down deep into the soil
of God's marvelous love. And may you have the power
to understand, as all God's people should, how wide,

how long, how high  and how deep his love really is. May
you experience the love of Christ, though it is so great
you will never fully understand it. Then you will be filled
with the fullness of life and power that comes from God.

Now glory be to God! By his mighty power at work within us,
he is able to accomplish infinitely more than we would ever
dare to ask or hope. May he be given glory in the church
and in Christ Jesus forever and ever through endless ages.
Amen.

I always give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers with
thanksgiving, joy and love!

Love and hugs,

Cruising thru Corinthians

Good Morning, Dear Friends and Prayer Partners! This is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it! The fog has mostly burned off, and the sun is not too bright, yet, but today will be as warm as it was yesterday. My, we went from winter right into spring! It was almost 80 when I came out of church, and today looks like the same!

Speaking of church, we were privileged to hear our missionaries from France, speak about their time in Congo. We have been praying for and supporting them for thirty years. I remember when they came 8 or 9 years ago, and surprisingly, John Kerl remembered me!

Well, I watched the Super Bowl and the team I was rooting for, won! I really was not too excited about either team, but was for the underdog. I was mostly watching for the commercials, since they are always muted when I watch any other show! I especially liked the Tebow commercial, which showed that he has a sense of humor and can sell anything!

My yardmen have come and gone already and the front porch was leaf free for about two minutes.  I have one azalea bush blooming already and since the crape myrtle was trimmed drastically some months ago, it has new growth about two feet tall growing on the top. I think it will bloom  pretty well later on!

The park was really crowded yesterday, since the weather was so nice, but because of the crowds, the animals and birds were absent from all the activity, but God is good!

From the Promise Bible NLT:

2 Corinthians 5:18-21

All this newness of life is from God, who
brought us back to himself through what
Christ did. And God has given us the task of
reconciling people to him. For God, was in Christ,
reconciling the world to himself, no longer
counting people's sins against them. This  is the
wonderful message he has given us to tell others.
We are Christ's ambassadors, and God is using  us
to speak to you. We urge you, as though Christ
himself were pleading with you, "Be reconciled
to God!" For God made Christ, who never sinned,
to be the offering for our sin, so that we could
be made right with God through Christ.

with thanksgiving, joy and love!
