Psoaring thru Psalm 23 MSG

Good morning Dear Friends and Prayer  Partners! This is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it!  The sun is shining and the wind is still and although it's a little cool, still a beautiful day. I awoke to the sound of helicopters flying overhead because the funeral of the two officers killed Monday takes place today and the church is not too far from my house. I am so sad for the families left behind. The men are heroes, as are the ones who work to protect us daily. God bless them all!

I took time to go to the Park yesterday and saw a big, fat gator curled up on the bank. This one was the biggest I have seen there. He must have been about 9 ft. long and very fat, so he is eating well. Just before I came to the entrance of the park, a peacock scooted across the street in front of me and went up in the yard of a house. His beautiful tail feathers were dragging behind him, gleaming in the sun. Then when I got home, a dozen ibis were pecking in the yard, very busy ignoring me. God is good!

From The Message:

Psalm 23

God, my shepherd!
I don't need a thing.
You have bedded me down in lush meadows,
You find me quiet pools to drink from.

True to your word,
you let me catch my breath
and send me in the right direction.

Even when the way goes through
Death Valley,
I'm not afraid
when you walk at my side.
Your trusty shepherd's crook
makes me feel secure.

You serve me a six course dinner
right in front of my enemies.
You revive my drooping head
My cup brims with blessing.

Your beauty and love chase after me
every day of my life.
I'm back home in the house of God
for the rest of my life.

I always give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers with thanksgiving, joy and love!

Love and hugs,
 Amaryllis
