Psoaring thru Psalms

Good Morning, Dear Friends and Prayer Partners! This is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it! More thunderstorms are predicted for today, but right now, the sun is shining and it is already quite warm...(hot).

Yesterday, I was determined to go to Publix in the morning, and so got my shopping done before the storms came. When I got out to the car, I noticed a dark cloud in the west, so got home and put everything away, before the rains came. Sure enough, it got really dark, and noisy with all the thunder, so I decided it was a good time to take a nap. Afterwards, the rains stopped and the sun came back, so I went on to the Library to return and then collect more books. I am happy to see lots of children enjoying books this summer. I always took my boys to the Mobile Library back when they were little, and they always picked out lots of books. They still enjoy reading. I used to volunteer in Lynch Library when my sons were in school. Mrs. Gerren, the librarian, had a program called the "Busy bookworms", which included all the students. A good way to start them reading!

After the library, I drove on to the Park, and spotted an anhinga airing his wings, off in the distance on a strong bush over the lake. They look so sleek when they are swimming under the water! I also spotted a large flock of ibis hanging out at the library creek near Fossil Park. God is good!

From the Promise Bible NLT:

Psalm 139:1-8
O Lord, you have examined my heart
and know everything about me.
You know when I sit down or stand up.
You know my every thought when far away.
You chart the path ahead of me
and tell me where to stop and rest.
Every moment you know where I am.
You know what I am going to say
even before I say it, Lord.
You both precede and follow me.
You place your hand of blessing on my head.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too great for me to know!

23-24
Search me, O God, and know my heart.
test me and know my thoughts.
Point out anything in me that offends you,
and lead me along the path of everlasting life.

I always give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers with thanksgiving, joy and love!

Love and hugs,
 Amaryllis
