Roamin' thru Romans 8

Good morning, Dear Friends and Prayer Partners! This is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it! Another bright sunshiny day with cool temps now, but warming up again this afternoon. Just perfect weather!

I did laundry yesterday and  still have closets to clean out..seems like I have a lot more clothes than I really need, and I have already eliminated bags and bags of clothes. It takes time..

But I took time to go to the park after running a few errands, and saw just one black turtle sunning himself on the bank of the weir. Not many people were out in the middle of the day, but a flock of ibis, and a beautiful egret fishing were admired by me. I think the egrets look so Florida when standing against the greens and grays of the woods and muddy banks. They look like a postcard. The young gators are still hanging around the entrance bridge. They seem to like it there.

I don't know what was going on at the park, but two sheriff's deputy cars were parked outside the office and the Ranger's SUV came in just as I was leaving. Guess I will hear about it from Dave, the yard man. But, God is still in control and He is good!

From the Promise Bible NLT:

Romans 8

For if you already have something, you don't need to hope for it. But if we look forward to something we don't have yet, we must wait patiently and confidently.

And the Holy Spirit helps us in our distress. For we don't even know what we should pray for, nor how we should pray. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying , for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God's own will. And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them.

I always give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers with thanksgiving, joy and love!

Love and hugs,
Amaryllis
