Roamin' thru Romans

Good morning, Dear Friends and Prayer Partners! This is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it! Another beautiful day full of sunshine and big white clouds! This morning I saw the large full moon setting in the west as the sun was coming up in the east. A beautiful sight!

I had so many telephone calls yesterday, I had let the caller ID pile up at one time and it said 10 new calls! Of course, I don't answer the ones with all the 8-- numbers, because I have no idea who they are and they mostly do not leave a message, so I am thinking it is all political.  What a nuisance! I did some more shopping yesterday, and was glad to get away from the phone!
So, I decided to drive on to the park just for a little serenity and peace. There were not many people and the only critters visible were ibis, and an anhinga, but Lynch Lake always has a lot of ducks and ibis around it and, not often enough for me, sometimes a roseate spoonbill.

Well, we have new neighbors in the area. After a complete renovation, a house across the street and down one, has a tenant, who moved in yesterday. A big truck was unloaded, and four guys were busy carrying in furniture all day. I have not seen any females, so  I don't know anything about who moved in, but it's good to have people in the house. God is good!

From the Promise Bible NLT:

Romans 12:6-17

God has given each of us the ability to do certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophecy, speak out when you have faith that God is speaking through you. If your gift is that of serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, do a good job of teaching. If your gift is to encourage others, do it! If you have money, share it generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take  the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly!

Don't just pretend that you love others, really love them. Hate what is wrong. Stand on the side of the good. Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other. Never be lazy in your work, but serve the Lord enthusiastically.

Be glad for all God is planning for you. Be patient in trouble, and always be prayerful. When God's children are in need, be the one to help them out. And get into the habit of inviting guests home for dinner, or, if they need lodging, for the night....

Never pay back evil for evil to anyone. Do things in such a way that everyone can see you are honorable. Do your part to live in peace with everyone, as much as possible.

I always give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers with thanksgiving, joy and love!

Love and hugs,
 Amaryllis
