Psoaring thru Psalm 92

Good Morning, Dear Friends and Prayer Partners! This is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it! I used to love watching the clouds change and see different faces and shapes in them and I was just doing the same thing out my window. It is another warm, humid day and I have been outside with my yard men. Jason inspected my old pump for the well my uncle dug about forty three years ago and discovered that the reason it loses its prime is that there is a crack in one of the pipes on the corner of the house. He seems to think it is easily fixed and will even put in an irrigation system for me in the future. I have been wanting one for years and if he can do it, I will be very thankful.So, the pump works well, and water was coming out of the broken pipe, so that is progress!

I just did some housework yesterday and did not go out, but got laundry done and put away. We had a short sprinkle about noon, but it never rained much in this neighborhood. I have a problem with anoles and lizards on my porch and mailbox. Now, I saw a small frog hopping away from the wall by the front door a couple days ago, but something is camping on the window sill at night under the porch light and leaving a big mess on the mailbox and floor and window sill, Since I will not camp out to see who or what is doing it, I will just have to guess. But, that is a small thing and all in all, God is good!

From the Promise Bible NLT:

Psalm 91

 Those who live in the shelter of the Most High
will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
This I declare of the Lord:
He alone is my refuge, my place of safety:
he is my God, and I am trusting him.
For he will rescue you from every trap
and protect you from the fatal plague.
He will shield you with his wings.
He will shelter you with his feathers.
His faithful promises are your armor and protection.
Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night,
nor fear the dangers of the day,
nor dread the plague that stalks in the darkness,
nor the disaster that strikes at midday.
Though a thousand are dying around you,
these evils will not touch you.
But you will see it with your eyes;
you will see how the wicked are punished.

If you make the Lord your refuge
if you make the Most High your shelter,
no evil will conquer you;
no plague will come near your dwelling,
For he orders his angels to protect you wherever you go....

I always thank God for you, remembering you in my prayers with thanksgiving, joy and love!

Love and hugs,
Amaryllis
