Roamin' thru Romans

Good Morning, Dear Friends and Prayer Partners! This is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it! The clouds have disappeared and now the sun is bright and hot, so even though it is the middle of Oct., we will still have temps in the high eighties.

My p.c. decided to freeze up yesterday, so I could not use it until almost noon, when it decided to thaw. Very temperamental. So,,,I had a day off. I had a call from the Library that a book I had ordered a few months ago had come in, so I went to pick it up, (I am almost through reading it) and then went to the park, I saw two egrets--one at the weir and the other at the canal, both looking intently at the water.

Well, the POD is gone from the driveway a couple doors down, so someone reported it. It is hard to keep an old neighborhood looking neat, when people come and go, and some do not have any interest in how the neighborhood looks. My next door neighbor, who has lived in the house since he was a baby, has no desire to mow his yard, and as a result, it is overgrown and looks pretty bad. I don't have much grass, but the weeds are clipped and green, so it looks neat from the street.

Ah, well, I am looking forward to see how the Gators do tomorrow with all that has been going on with the team. And then the Packers on Sunday. Go Teams! God is good!

From the Promise Bible NLT:

Romans 12:6-8
God has given each of us the ability to do certain things well. So if
God has given you the ability to prophecy, speak out when you have
faith that God is speaking through you. If your gift is that of serving
others serve them well. If you are a teacher, do a good job of teaching,
If your gift is to encourage others , do it! If you have money share it
generously. If God has given you leadership ability , take the respon
sibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others,
do it gladly.

I always give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers with thanksgiving, joy and love!

Love and hugs,
 Amaryllis
