Wisdom

Good Morning, Dear Friends and Prayer Partners! This is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it! The sun is back after an overcast day all day yesterday. The breeze is cooler, so fall is truly here! The fire station near here is having a block party and Haunted House for the neighborhood kids Saturday, which always draws lots of people. They do this every year and it is a good way for everyone to appreciate our first responders!

My yard crew came yesterday morning and picked up the twigs and branches which had fallen from the oaks, so the yard looks nice. I knew that Kim and Cheryl were coming to clean around 2:30, so I thought I would have time to go to the Library, which I did. I was surprised to find it so neat! Just about every time I go in, the carts are filled with books which haven't been shelved, but not yesterday! All books were on the shelves and there were even some spaces. I think because of Matthew, people were not visiting the library so much, so the librarians got a lot of work done.

Anyway, as I was coming home, I saw Kim's Suv in the driveway, so I opened the garage door from a distance and let them know I was not home yet. So, the timing worked out, and after they finished, I headed over to Feet First to try on the shoes they had ordered for me. I had received a call that my shoes were in. They are located right next to Firehouse Subs, but since it was mid afternoon, the parking lot was almost empty at that end of the strip.

It was an unusually busy day for me, so I was glad to drive through the park, and noticed that the huge stump has been ground down and is just sawdust. The giant tree is all gone. Sigh. But God is good!

From the Promise Bible NLT:

Proverbs 3:21-26
My child, don't lose sight of good planning and insight.
Hang on to them, for they fill you with life and
bring you honor and respect. They keep you safe
on your way and keep your feet from stumbling. You
can lie down without fear and enjoy pleasant dreams.
You need not be afraid of disaster or the destruction
that comes upon the wicked, for the Lord is your
security. He will keep your foot from being caught in
a trap.

Wisdom produces honor in our lives and protects us from trouble. Wise people know the
difference between right and wrong and choose to do what's right.More than that, wisdom
is choosing to apply God's truth and principles to our daily relationships and situations.

I always give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers with thanksgiving, joy and love!

Love and hugs,
 Amaryllis
