Paul's Prayer for Spiritual Empowering

Good morning, Dear Friends and Prayer Partners! This is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it! We have blue skies, but a strong wind is blowing to bring more cold weather today. What a wild day yesterday! We had lots of rain which we needed, but not the wind. But my driveway got all the leaves blown off; now just the twigs are left from the trees, but if they dry out, they will probably blow off, too.

I drove through the park yesterday before the rains came, but it looked so threatening, I did not try to walk. I saw lots of the turtles on the weir and one anhinga sitting on top of one of the poles lining it. I really don't know how he folded his big webbed feet around the top of the pole which is not very big, but he managed. The gator was not on the other side, but I saw two of them Sunday. They were attracting lots of attention from the people taking photos.  God is good!

From the Promise Bible NLT:

-Galatians :7-10
Don't be misled. Remember that you can't ignore God and get away with it. You will always reap what you sow! Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful desires will harvest the consequences of decay and death. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit. So don't get tired of doing what is good. Don't get discouraged and give up, for we will reap a harvest of blessing at the appropriate time. Whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone, especially to our Christian brothers and sisters.

I always give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers with thanksgiving, joy and love!

Love and hugs,
 Amaryllis
