Paul's Prayer

Good Morning, Dear Friends and Prayer Partners! This is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it! We have another sunny morning, but when I opened the door to get the paper, the heat and humidity felt like a sauna!  Like yesterday, it is sun in the morning, and then, by noon or later, the dark clouds start to roll in, We had a sprinkle yesterday, and thunder, but then the sprinkles stopped and once again, the sun came out. The prediction is for a cold, wet winter! That seems far off, because school hasn't started yet.

I had some errands to run yesterday, which included buying more batteries for my electric candles. My power has not gone off yet, during a lightning storm, but across the street it was off for six hours. That was the result of the loud booms I heard last week. It pays to be prepared!

I visited the park and saw the smaller gopher tortoise wandering around, and when I came back by Lynch Lake there were lots of ibis and one lone great blue heron all huddled up like he was cold. I went to Boston Market for my dinner and saw their resident egret standing very tall and hopeful right in front of the exit door. That is his usual station. God is good!

From the Promise Bible NLT:

Ephesians 3:14-21
When I think of the wisdom and scope
of God's plan, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father,
the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. I pray
that from the glorious, unlimited resources he will give
you mighty inner strength through his Holy Spirit. And
I pray that Christ will be more and more at home in your
hearts as you trust him. May your roots go down deep into
all of God's marvelous love. And may you have the power
to understand , as all God's people should, how wide, how
long, and how deep his love really is. May you experience
the love of Christ, though it is so great you will never
fully understand it . Then you will be filled with the fullness
of life and power that comes from God.

Now glory be to God! By his mighty power at  work within us ,
he is able to accomplish infinitely more than we would ever
dare to act or hope. May he be given glory in the church and
in Christ Jesus forever and ever through endless ages. Amen

I always give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers with thanksgiving, joy and love!

Love and hugs,
 Amaryllis
