You Reap What You Sow

Good Morning, Dear Friends and Prayer Partners! This is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it! I just saw a tiny wren perched for a moment in the hedge outside my window! I have not seen one of them in about a year. Surely the weather is not so cold in the north that they are migrating!  But we still have the same weather as the last week or so...maybe just a little cooler.

So...the election is over and Facebook is full of opinionated people posting their thoughts and unhappiness for some and glee for others. Some of the Hillary people seem to be very passionate about her loss and how fast the country will go down with Trump.

The Trump people are equally passionate about his win. All I have to say is that I am glad it is over! My land line phone has not rung once this morning, and I am so glad. Everyone should remember that God is still in control. He is our King of Kings and Lord of Lords!

I am wondering what excuse the people who said they would leave the country if Trump won, are going to use to stay. I never listen or watch "The Talk" or whatever it is called, but I would be tempted just to hear what opinions are expressed.

Yesterday, I did my ironing! Yay for me! It took me fifteen minutes to iron 9 pairs of Capri pants. Daryl points out that no one irons any more. Just spray Wrinkle stuff on the garment and you are good to go! I may have to try that.

I took a trip to the Park when I finished and was calmed by the greenery and the sight of four or five ibis sitting on the rail of the bridge as people were walking toward them! Guess who moved first?
God is good!

From the Promise Bible NLT:

Galatians 6:7-10
Don't be misled. Remember that you can't ignore
God and get away with it. You will always reap
what you sow! Those who live only to satisfy
their own sinful desires will harvest the consequences
of decay and death. But those who live to please
the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit.
So don't get tired of doing what is good. Don't get
discouraged and give up , for we will reap a harvest
of blessing at the appropriate time. Whenever we have
the opportunity, we should do good for everyone,
especially to our Christian brothers and sisters.

I always give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers with thanksgiving, joy and love!

Love and hugs,
 Amaryllis
