Good Morning, Dear Friends and Prayer Partners! This is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it! There is a chilly breeze and the temp is about 55. We had sunshine for awhile and now it is overcast. Brrr!
This has been a different morning. I developed a cough yesterday, and my nose is running like a faucet, so I went to the doctor, because my medical group has 24 hr. service 24/7. I got in to see the triage nurse after a short wait, but because I started the Z-Pak yesterday, she said that would take care of any problem I may have. But, the doc recommended an allergy med, which I will pick up. Since I am not supposed to bend over for any length of time, I will have my hair shampooed and styled this afternoon. It is difficult to keep my nose dry with the huge bandage right on the end,. I hope I haven't damaged the graft by blowing so much!
Yesterday was so beautiful, with lots of contrails criss-crossing the sky! Paul, the meteorologist, says they are man made cirrus clouds. I learn a lot from him about cloud formation.
My yard man was here this morning, and I don't know what is up with that, because he was just here Monday!
After I picked up a prescription from CVS, yesterday, I rode down to the park and saw a couple from NJ delighted that they could walk right up to a gopher tortoise and take pics. There were lots of ibis, egrets and moorhens in the canal. God is good!
From the Promise Bible NLT:
Psalm 119:41-48
Lord, give to me your unfailing love,
the salvation that you promised me.
Then I will have an answer for those who taunt me,
for I want to trust your word.
Do not snatch your word of truth from me,
for my only hope is in your laws.
I will keep on obeying your law forever and ever.
I will walk in freedom,
for I have devoted myself to your commandments.
I will speak to kings about your decrees,
and I will not be ashamed.
How I delight in your commands!
How I love them!
I honor and love your commands.
I meditate on your principles.
I always give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers with thanksgiving,
joy and love!
Love and hugs,
Amaryllis
