The Tree and It's Fruit

Good Morning, Dear Friends and Prayer Partners! This is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it !We have a chilly wind  and the temp is still in the fifties, so it looks like winter is having a last gasp at the beginning of this Holy Week.

We really had a downpour, Saturday. I had an appointment to get my hair done at noon, and left the house in the rain, got a little wet getting out of the car and into shelter, because it is not possible to carry an umbrella and push a walker at the same time. When I was ready to leave, my stylist walked me out to the van with a large golf umbrella, so I did not get her handy work wet! I was grateful for her thoughtfulness!

After a powerful Palm Sunday sermon, I drove home with a van full of pollen and seeds from the oak trees I parked under. What a mess! The car had gotten a good washing in the rain on Sat. but some of the pollen is still on the windshield. Sigh.

I was looking forward to watching The Passion last night and was not disappointed. It was very unusual the way the modern songs related to Christ's death and the events leading up to it. I don't know whether Tyler Perry is a believer or not, but he certainly gave that impression the way he read the story. The actor who played the part of Jesus was very effective, too, I thought. The sound is always important to me, because I have difficulty distinguishing words if they are not enunciated clearly. I had no problem with understanding the songs, which was unusual since it was live and outside. It did not appear to be lip sync.

From the pics I have seen. looks like gators have hatched out at Sawgrass Park. I am not tempted to walk to see them with all the pollen around there. But I enjoy the anhingas and the ducks and seagulls that gather around Lynch Lake! God is good!

From the Promise Bible NLT:

Luke 6:43-45
A good tree can't produce bad fruit.
and a bad tree can't produce good
fruit. A tree is identified by the kind of
fruit it produces. Figs never grow on
thornbushes or grapes on bramble
bushes. A good person produces
good deeds from a good heart and an
evil person produces evil deeds from
an evil heart. Whatever is in your
heart determines what you say.

I always give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers with thanksgiving, joy and love!

Love and hugs,
 Amaryllis
