Faith brings Joy

Good Morning, Dear Friends and Prayer Partners! This is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it! It is still cool at night but the days are just perfect! Sunshine and warm and just a small breeze.

Brian is in Milwaukee for training for the next three days, so he is experiencing much cooler weather.  He invited me to a meal Sat. night at Jack's London Grill. After the good review in the Times we should have known better. The former Pizza Hut was packed with people waiting, but we were able to get a seat and waited about 20 minutes for a table, then after we got seated in a booth, we waited just as long to get someone to take our order. Unfortunately, they have not worked out the routine for taking care of a crowd. We happened to get the manager/owner for our waiter and he did not know much about what he should do. But when the food finally came, after we had been there an hour, it was good. Brian had fish and chips and I had Shepherd's pie. Very tasty. I would probably go back, but not on Sat. night!

I have my last checkup scheduled for this afternoon, but I am almost well, Praise God! I am having a hard time adjusting to the DST, as I always do. It takes me about three days to get used to it. Sigh.

I went to gas up the van yesterday, after missing another Sunday at church, and stopped in at the Park on the way. Wow! It was packed! There were only a few parking spaces left, because of the crowd. The weather was beautiful and people were really enjoying it. The gators should be on the prowl, now, since this is spring and mating season, and it is always exciting to see them! The ospreys are nesting high up on the light poles. There is a nest at Sawgrass Elem. school, and one in the Publix parking lot. God is good!

From the Promise Bible NLT:

Romans 5:3-5
We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems
and trials, for we know that they are good for us--
they help us learn to endure. And endurance develops
strength of character in us, and character strengthens
our confident expectation of salvation. And this
expectation will not disappoint us. Fpr we know how
dearly God loves us because he has given us the Holy
Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.

I always give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers with thanksgiving,
 joy and love!

Love and hugs,
 Amaryllis
