All Creatures Great and Small

Good Morning, Dear Friends and Prayer Partners! This is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it! The sun is shining,and a moist breeze is blowing, but it looks like another great day ahead of us!

I am blessed with amazing and kind friends! When I came home from errand running yesterday, the trash can was sitting down by the street. My friend, and neighbor had done it.) Then, this morning I received a call from her as I was finishing breakfast and she said that a possum had been hit by a car and was lying in the street in front of the house with babies crawling on her. Cheryl dragged the mother over into the gutter and called the SPCA and told them about the babies. Well, the babies had not all been born,yet, so Cheryl pulled two of them out of the pouch and then got a basin to put the others in. They were nursing on the dead mother, so she really had to pull to get them off. The SPCA lady said the mother's milk would turn toxic after death, so it was important not to let them nurse. All together, there were nine babies. The SPCA lady came in about thirty minutes and put the carcass into a trash bag in the back of her nice, shiny van, with her bare hands!

Meanwhile, Cheryl went to put gloves on before she handled any more babies. I took pictures with my camera, but I don't know how to transfer them to the emails. BTW, Cheryl also brought my dumpster back up to the house! God is good! I think that is enough excitement for today!

From the Promise Bible NLT:

Psalm 150
Praise the Lord!
Praise God in his heavenly dwelling,
praise him in his mighty heaven!
Praise him for his mighty works,
Praise his unequaled greatness!
Praise him with a blast of the trumpet,
Praise him with the tambourine and dancing;
praise him with stringed instruments and flutes!
Praise him with a clash of cymbals;
praise him with loud clanging cymbals,
Let everything that lives sing praises to the Lord!

I always give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers with thanksgiving,
joy and love!

Love and hugs,
 Amaryllis
