Roamin' thru Romans

Good Morning, Dear Friends and Prayer Partners! And Happy April Fool's Day! This is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it! The sun is shining and the air is still, although it is still cool, as soon as the sun gets higher, we will have a warm, beautiful day!

Yesterday, my yard crew came and had what little grass I have left looking nice and trimmed. I have decided that the new guy does not know anything about plants...he just knows how to make the grass look nice.  Well, my handy man knows about plants, so I have a back-up. What would I do without people to do the work I no longer am able to?

The Times this morning, featured a photo of two roseate spoonbills at Sawgrass. I saw them Friday and yesterday. They are very busy close to the entrance bridge, pecking and moving among the bushes and reeds, scooping up whatever it is they eat. They are so beautiful, with the deep pink of their feathers! I love their colors!

Well, baseball season started and I watched the Rays win their first game with about 31000 people filling the Trop! What a great start to the season! God is good!

From the Promise Bible NLT:

Romans 8:35-39
Can anything ever separate us from Christ's love?
Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble
or calamity, or are persecuted, or are hungry or cold or
in danger or threatened with death?
(Even the scriptures say ,"For your sake we are killed
every day, we are being slaughtered like sheep.") No,
despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours
through Christ who loved us.
And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us
from his love. Death can't and life can't. The angels can't
and the demons can't. Our fears for today, our worries
about tomorrow and even the powers of hell can't keep
God's love away. Whether we are high above the sky, or
in the deepest ocean, nothing in all creation will ever be
able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed
in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I always give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers with
Thanksgiving, joy and love!

Love and hugs,
 Amaryllis
