Roamin' thru Romans

Good Morning, Dear Friends and Prayer Partners! this is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it! It looks like more of the same weather today that we have had for the past two weeks or so, even though it is the end of June.

After the yard crew came, we had a short rain just about the same time as the one on Sunday. After the sun came out again, I took off to run a few errands, and then visited the park. Not too many people were out but it was about the middle of the day and other activities were going on.

My computer suddenly took a vacation after I had sent the blog and paid some bills online. I think I must have clicked a wrong button, because I copied the church newsletter and then nothing, After clicking every button I could think of, I finally called my computer guy and he came about supper time. Of course, it did not take him five minutes to fix whatever the problem was. He talks to himself while he is working, but in a low voice, so I have trouble understanding him, but he is good. So, whatever the problem was, it is resolved and now I can have fun deleting all the stuff that comes in every day!

I just watched two mockingbirds chasing each other in and out of the hedge, but no butterflies yet this morning,  I have another bird of paradise bloom, and the crape myrtle is outstanding with its pink blossoms! God is good!

From the Promise Bible NLT:

Romans 8:35-38
Can anything ever separate us from Christ's love?
Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble
or calamity, or are persecuted , or are hungry or cold or in
danger  or threatened with death? (Even the scriptures say "For
your sake we are killed every day, we are slaughtered like
sheep".) No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory
is ours through Christ who loved us.

I always give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers with thanksgiving, joy and love!

Love and hugs,
 Amaryllis
