Good Morning, Dear friends and Prayer Partners! this is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it! After the drizzle all day yesterday, we have blue skies with white puffy clouds here and there, and it promises to be a very warm day.
I ran some errands in spite of the rain and did a bank run, and then decided to go to the park to see if there was any activity in the sprinkle. I only counted seven cars, and some of them belonged to the rangers and the teacher, but no animal activity or humans walking. It was peaceful and fairly quiet, and very green from all the rain we have had. So I came home, did a few chores and read , instead of doing my ironing, which is still waiting.
But I did see activity around Lynch Lake...a gorgeous roseate spoonbill was perched on the side of the bank, not doing much, except looking beautiful. My favorite color! And a few ducks and ibis, were not far away. God is good!
From the Promise Bible NLT:
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8, 14,15
There is a time for everything;
a season for every activity under heaven.
A time to be born and a time to die.
A time to plant and a time to harvest.
A time to kill and a time to heal.
A time to tear down and a time to rebuild.
A time to cry and a time to laugh.
A time to grieve and a time to dance.
A time to scatter stones and a time to gather stones.
A time to embrace and a time to turn away.
A time to search and a time to lose.
A time to keep and a time to throw away.
A time to tear and a time to mend.
A time to be quiet and a time to speak up.
A time to love and a time to hate....
And I know that whatever God does is final. Nothing can be added
to it or taken from it. God's purpose in this is that people
should fear him. Whatever exists today and whatever will
exist in the future has already existed in the past. For God
calls each event back in its turn.
I always give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers with thanksgiving, joy and love!
Love and hugs,
Amaryllis
