Lopin' thru Luke

Good morning, Dear Friends and Prayer Partners! This is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it!

When I stepped outside early this morning, I noticed the three quarter moon was trying to cast its glow through a mist. We have a lot of clouds this morning, and the air is cooler. I think we are having a Florida "cold front". Temps are only in the seventies.

Our Beauty Berry Bush in the back yard is so loaded with purple berries that it is bent to the ground, I remember the days of hanging out the laundry and how the sheets would have to be rewashed because of the birds enjoying the berries!

I noticed a woodstork all huddled up yesterday in the park and there seem to be hundreds of birds on lines and flying in groups all around, now. The Park is a place where the birders come to do a count a couple times a year, because of all the variety of birds.

God is Awesome!

From Luke 12 22-34 NLT

"Then turning to his disciples, Jesus said, " So I tell you, don't worry about everyday life-whether you have enough food to eat or clothes to wear. For life consists of far more than food and clothing. Look at the ravens. They don't need to plant or harvest or put food in barns because God feeds then. And you are far more valuable to him than any birds! Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? Of course not! And if worry can't do little things like that, what's the use of worrying over bigger things?

Look at the lilies and how they grow. They don't work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. And if God cares so wonderfully for flowers that are here today and gone tomorrow, won't he more surely care for you? You have so little faith! And don't worry about food-what to eat and drink. Don't worry whether God will provide it for you. these things dominate the thoughts of most people, but your father already knows your needs. He will give you all you need from day to day if you make the Kingdom of God your primary concern."

I always give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers with thanksgiving, joy and love!

Love and hugs,
Amaryllis
