Good morning, Dear Friends and Prayer Partners! This is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it! This is another sunny, dry day in the Sunshine State, and I am praying for rain. But God's timing is perfect and I am sure it will come.
Yesterday, I drove out to the airport to pick up Brian after getting a call from him that the plane was 15 minutes early. So, it took me about 20 minutes to drive out there and we stopped at Bob Evans for lunch, which was a nice treat. This time, he drove back, so I didn't take a detour to Tampa like I did when I drove back from dropping him off. I know which turn I missed, now. I am so directionally challenged!
A roseate spoonbill by Lynch Lake, a friend calling to tell me he was at Bay Pines visiting Louis' grave, friends inviting me for lunch, another friend wanting to do the same at the same time, a neighbor who watches out for me, informing me when I leave the garage door open or have not turned on the outside light at night, A friend who takes care of my yard and does other things for me that need doing, and other friends who love me....these are things that give me joy! God is so good!
Psalm 100 NKJV
Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands!
Serve the Lord with gladness;
Come before His presence with singing.
Know that the Lord, He is God:
It is He who has made us,
and not we ourselves:
We are his people and the sheep of His pasture.
Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,
And into His courts with praise.
Be thankful to Him,
And bless His name.
For the Lord is good;
His mercy is everlasting,
And His truth endures to all generations.
I always give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers with thanksgiving, joy and love!
Love and hugs,
Amaryllis
