Psoaring thru Psalm 121

Good morning, Dear friends and Prayer Partners and Happy August First! This is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it! We have sunshine and clouds this morning, and rain must have fallen Sat. night, because everything was drippy yesterday morning. It must have been a quiet rain, because I did not hear anything...

The two bunnies have not made a return appearance in the front yard,..at least, not that I could see, but the birds have still been scratching out the mulch along the sidewalk. There must be bugs or something that the birds like.

This morning as I was closing the garage side door, I warned a tiny gecko to be careful, because he was wriggling his way up the door jamb. There are all kinds of critters, everywhere!  An anhinga at the park had his wings folded and was posing stiffly on top of a post. He looked so thin, all folded up, but they are very graceful under water. In the background, a white egret was intent on reaching out for a fish and looked so beautiful against the green foliage behind him! God is good!

From the Promise Bible NLT:

Psalm 121

I look up to the mountains---
does my help come from there?
My help comes from the Lord,
who made the heavens and the earth.

He will not let you stumble and fall;
the one who watches over you will not sleep.
Indeed, he who watches over Israel
never tires and never sleeps.

The Lord himself watches over you!
The Lord stands beside you as your protective shade.
The sun will not hurt you by day,
nor the moon at night.
The Lord keeps you from all evil and preserves your life.
The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go,
both now and forever.

I always give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers with thanksgiving, joy and love!

Love and hugs,
Amaryllis
